Everybody from kutch know that kutchhi is our mother tongue. however our language has not its own script. so we are writing either in gujarati or in devnagari script.
since last so many years many people are working on kutchhi language in their own way and due to this after so many years of work we are no where.
All people working on kutchhi language works in their own way. and so till today we don’t have any standard grammar or any standard form of our language to write.
poets are writing poetry in kutchhi language since last so many years. but, poetry they write they send to the people by reciting them and so they can send their feelings easily. but to read the same poetry and to understand is a bit difficult.
the other form of literature are also being written by few writers either in kutch or out of kutch, but they are also not so popular.
the one and the best thing for kutchhi language was to sing kutchhi songs and poetry by composing and singing them with music which is being done in kutch as well as mumbai and other parts of india. but this activity also was in form during last decade of last century by people of kutchhi sangeet vartul, mumbai and many other people.
now, this activity has stopped. and so, in kutchhi language, after so many years of struggle, we are no where.
gujarat government has given kutchhi sahitya akademi before two three years, but the akadami is also in hands of a group of people who don’t want to bring all the people working in this field on one platform.
now, what should we do?

અને છોકરો નવી નોટનાં પાનાં ફાડે !
સોળ વરસની સાવ કુંવારી લાગણીઓમાં
કેમ ઊઠ્યાં તોફાન કેમ આ ભરતી આવી ?
કેમ અચાનક ગમવા લાગ્યા ફૂલબગીચા
કેમ અચાનક અરીસામાં વસ્તી આવી ?
રંગરંગની છોળ નવા ઉન્માદ જગાડે
અને છોકરી આમ અચાનક આંખો ઢાળે ?
નવી ધડકનો, નવા નિસાસા, નવી નવાઇ
નવી કવિતા, નવી ગઝલ ને નવી રુબાઇ
અંગઅંગમાં નવી ચેતના નવો મુઝારો
દિવસ-રાત બેચેન બનાવે નવી સગાઇ
નવાં નવાં સંગીત સૂતેલા સાપ જગાડે
જુઓ ! છોકરો નવી નોટનાં પાનાં ફાડે !
